Christian: I'm sure they'll get us out soon. They just have to arrange their stuff upstairs and then they'll get us out…

Sarah: Feels like being buried.

Off to space! Overpopulation is mankind's biggest problem and almost three new citizens are added every second. But the available space remains the same. So three representatives of the demographic cross-section - Sarah, Monika and Christian - sit in the transfer capsule of a spaceship to be shot into space in search of a better place to live. The friendly on-board computer confirms the immense importance of this mission - "The future of mankind is in your hands!" - and offers a varied feel-good program: food, films, fitness. Ready to take off!

Man needs machine? Machine makes man? Which catastrophes reactivate the self-determination of these chosen ones, which had been dormant in a slumber?
